I’m happy to announce that I’ve been awarded a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship to develop AI methods for gravitational-wave data analysis.
The fellowship, titled “AI-Driven Inference for Gravitational Waves: Accelerating Discoveries in Fundamental Physics”, will support my group’s work on simulation-based inference, in particular development of the Dingo package for fast and accurate parameter estimation of gravitational-wave signals.
This is a four-year fellowship (2024–2028) that will fund postdocs and PhD students working at the intersection of machine learning and gravitational-wave astronomy. I’m excited about the science we’ll be able to do with this support.
